  • It is important to purchase the Machu Picchu entrance ticket and the Cusco Tourist Ticket in advance, as both have limited capacity and are required to visit the attractions.
  • It is mandatory to carry your passport or ID to enter the archaeological sites.
  • The Andean weather is unpredictable; it is recommended to dress in layers, bring light clothing for the day, warm clothes for the night, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a windbreaker.
  • Staying hydrated, using coca leaves or altitude sickness tablets, and allowing at least one day to acclimate in Cusco can help prevent altitude sickness.
  • The tours can be demanding due to the altitude; good physical condition is recommended, and if desired, renting horses or trekking poles can provide extra comfort.

Cancellation Policy

  • The Machu Picchu tour is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled, as mandated by the Ministry of Culture of Peru. Therefore, once the tickets are purchased, no modifications or refunds are allowed under any circumstances.
  • Non-refundable Tickets and Services: Tickets for Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Humantay Lagoon, Lima City Tour, Paracas, Huacachina, and other archaeological sites included in the package are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • No-Show: If the client does not show up at the scheduled time and meeting point for any tour included in the package, it will be considered a “no-show,” and 100% of the amount paid for that service will be forfeited, with no option for a refund or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations More Than 48 Hours in Advance: A penalty of 50% of the total tour package price will apply (valid for any tour in the package, except Machu Picchu, which is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled).
  • Cancellations Within 24 Hours Before the Start of the Package: A penalty of 100% of the total tour package price will apply (valid for any tour in the package, except Machu Picchu, which is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled).
  • Force Majeure: In the event of extreme weather conditions, strikes, roadblocks, or other situations beyond the agency’s control, we will assess the possibility of rescheduling activities only if feasible. If rescheduling is not possible, the cancellation policies of the Ministry of Culture, associated providers, and our agency’s terms and conditions will apply.

Day 1: Welcome to Lima – Transfer and First Day in the City

  • Arrival in Lima and reception at Jorge Chávez International Airport.
  • Private transfer to the hotel.
  • Hotel check-in.
  • Free day to rest or start exploring Lima at your own pace.
  • Recommended options: stroll through Miraflores and the Malecón with views of the Pacific Ocean, visit the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco, or enjoy local cuisine (ceviche, lomo saltado, causa limeña).
  • Time to acclimate and enjoy a relaxed introduction to the city.

Day 2: Lima City Tour

  • Pickup from your hotel at 3:00 PM (Miraflores or San Isidro) to begin the Lima city tour.
  • Visit the Love Park (Parque del Amor) with views of the Pacific Ocean and the sculpture “El Beso.”
  • Panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca archaeological site in Miraflores.
  • Tour through Lima’s historic center and its colonial monuments.
  • Visit the San Francisco de Asís Convent and its catacombs.
  • Visit the Magic Water Circuit (Circuito Mágico del Agua) with a light, music, and dancing fountain show.
  • Return to the historic center at approximately 8:30 PM.

Day 3: Ballestas Islands and Huacachina

  • Pickup from your hotel at 4:00 AM (Miraflores or San Isidro) or designated meeting point.
  • Transfer to the Paracas Resort.
  • Stop along the way to enjoy breakfast (not included).
  • Boat tour to the Ballestas Islands (approx. 1 hour 40 minutes) to observe marine wildlife such as sea lions, penguins, and birds.
  • Free time for shopping and exploring the surroundings of Paracas.
  • Transfer to the city of Ica and visit the Huacachina Oasis.
  • Free time to stroll and take photos at the oasis.
  • Guided instructions and adventure with all-terrain vehicles and sandboarding on the dunes.
  • Return to Lima, arriving at the city center at approximately 10:00 PM.

Day 4: Transfer in Lima, Flight to Cusco, and Transfer to the Hotel

  • Hotel pickup in Lima for a private transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport
  • Transfer arranged two hours before the domestic flight to Cusco
  • Domestic flight from Lima to Cusco.
  • Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel.
  • Free day to rest and acclimate to the altitude (3,399 m / 11,152 ft).
  • We recommend taking it easy and staying well hydrated.
  • Try coca tea, a traditional infusion that helps with altitude adjustment.
  • You can stroll around the historic center to acclimate, avoiding intense physical activity.

Day 5: Cusco City Tour

  • Hotel pickup at 9:00 AM (Cusco Historic Center) for a tour of the main archaeological sites in Cusco.
  • Visit Qorikancha, the Inca temple dedicated to the Sun.
  • Visit Sacsayhuamán Fortress.
  • Visit Q’enqo, an Inca ceremonial center.
  • Visit Puka Pukara, a military fortress.
  • Visit Tambomachay, the “Inca Baths.”
  • Tour ends in Cusco Historic Center at approximately 2:30 PM.

Day 6: Machu Picchu in One Day

  • Early morning pickup (3:00 – 4:00 AM) from the hotel in the Historic Center.
  • Shared transportation to Ollantaytambo train station, enjoying the scenic views.
  • Travel on the Expedition Tourist Train to Aguas Calientes.
  • Reception by the guide in Aguas Calientes and transfer to the CONSETTUR bus station.
  • Bus ride up to the entrance of Machu Picchu (bring ticket and ID).
  • Guided tour and exploration of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours.
  • Return by bus to Aguas Calientes.
  • Free time for lunch.
  • Return journey on the Expedition Tourist Train to Ollantaytambo.
  • Transfer from Ollantaytambo to Cusco, ending the tour in the Historic Center at approximately 9:30 PM.

Day 7: Sacred Valley of the Incas

  • Hotel pickup (Historic Center) at 6:00 AM.
  • Visit Chinchero: agricultural terraces, colonial church, and traditional textile process.
  • Visit Moray: circular terraces used for agricultural experiments.
  • Visit the Maras Salt Mines: salt pools on terraces and traditional extraction methods.
  • Visit Ollantaytambo Fortress: terraces, archaeological remains, and panoramic views.
  • Buffet lunch with typical dishes in Urubamba.
  • Visit the Pisac Archaeological Complex: Inca architecture and agricultural terraces.
  • Return to Cusco, ending the tour at approximately 6:30 PM.

Day 8: Humantay Lagoon

  • Pickup at 4:00 AM from the hotel in Cusco (Historic Center).
  • Travel to Mollepata, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way.
  • Stop in Mollepata for breakfast.
  • Continue to Soraypampa to start the hike to Humantay Lagoon (approx. 1 hour 50 minutes).
  • Time to enjoy and take photos at Humantay Lagoon (4,200 m / 13,780 ft altitude).
  • Descend back to Soraypampa.
  • Return to Mollepata for lunch.
  • Travel back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival around 5:30 PM.

Day 9: Rainbow Mountain

  • Pickup from your hotel (Cusco Historic Center) at 4:00 a.m.
  • 2-hour and 30-minute drive to a restaurant in Cusipata.
  • Continue to the start of the Quesyuno trail (4,326 m).
  • Briefing and preparation for a moderate hike of approximately 2.5 hours.
  • Arrive at Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m) around 10:30 a.m.
  • Time to enjoy the views.
  • Descent along the same path to the transportation.
  • Return to the restaurant in Cusipata.
  • Buffet lunch and short break.
  • Return to Cusco, enjoying the scenery. Estimated arrival time is approximately 4:30 p.m.

Day 10: Last day in Cusco (transfer to the airport)

  • Enjoy a free day in Cusco to do what you like best.
  • Take a leisurely stroll through the charming Historic Center.
  • We recommend visiting the San Pedro Market or the craft shops in the San Blas neighborhood, where you’ll find unique handmade gifts.
  • Take the opportunity to buy special souvenirs that will stay with you forever.
  • At the agreed-upon time, we’ll pick you up with enough time to take you to the airport without rushing.
