Additional Information

  • To enter Tipón and Pikillacta, it is necessary to have the Cusco Tourist Ticket. It is recommended to purchase it in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
  • The southern area of Cusco can experience temperature changes, so it is recommended to wear light clothing with an additional layer, sunscreen, and a hat.

  • In Tipón and Pikillacta, climbing the structures or removing stones is prohibited. It is recommended to follow the guide’s instructions and help keep the sites in good condition.
  • Entrance to the Church of Andahuaylillas is not included in the tour and must be paid on site. In addition, some purchases along the route may require cash.

 


 

Cancellation Policies

  • If the passenger cancels their reservation at least 48 hours in advance, a penalty of 50% of the total tour cost will apply.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the start of the tour incur a 100% penalty, with no refund.

  • In case of strikes, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control that prevent the tour from taking place, we will be flexible in rescheduling the visit to the most convenient date for the passenger, subject to availability.
  • If the client does not show up at the scheduled time and meeting point, it will be considered a no-show, and 100% of the paid amount will be forfeited, with no option for a refund or rescheduling.
  • By booking the tour, the passenger agrees to all the cancellation policies and terms mentioned, without exceptions.

Tour Start

  • Pick-up from your accommodation at 8:30 a.m. (Historic Center of Cusco) and transfer to the southern part of the Valley.

Inca hydraulic engineering

  • Guided tour of the Tipón Archaeological Site, known for its advanced system of canals and terraces.

Jewel of colonial art

  • Tour of the Church of San Pedro Apóstol in Andahuaylillas, known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas”

Pre-Inca civilization

  • Exploration of the Pikillacta Archaeological Site, an important urban center of the Wari culture.

Return to Cusco

  • After completing the visits, return to Cusco, arriving at Plaza Regocijo at approximately 2:30 p.m.
