Additional Information

  • It is necessary to purchase the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu in advance due to the visitor limit. In addition, the Cusco Tourist Ticket is required to access several attractions, so it is recommended to obtain it before starting the tours.
  • It is mandatory to carry a passport or ID to enter the archaeological sites.
  • The Andean weather is variable; it is recommended to dress in layers, wear comfortable footwear, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a windbreaker jacket.
  • Drink plenty of water and bring coca leaves or altitude sickness tablets. It is recommended to acclimate in Cusco for at least one day before the tour.
  • The tour may include walks of varying difficulty; some trails are challenging due to the altitude, so good physical condition is recommended. Horses can be rented or trekking poles used. Additionally, bring sunscreen, insect repellent, a raincoat, a hat, and gloves, as temperatures can drop below 0 °C in the morning.
  • Bring energy snacks and extra money for shopping, souvenirs, or additional entrance fees not included in the package.
  • Do not touch or damage the Inca structures and follow the guide’s instructions. During the tour, respect the scheduled times for photos and rest, and engage with local communities by supporting artisans and purchasing handmade products in Pisac, Chinchero, or Aguas Calientes.
