Additional Information

  • It is important to purchase your Machu Picchu ticket in advance due to capacity limits. It is also recommended to obtain the Cusco Tourist Ticket beforehand to access several attractions.
  • It is mandatory to carry a passport or national ID to enter the archaeological sites.
  • In the Andes, the weather is unpredictable, so it is recommended to dress in layers: light clothing during the day and warm jackets at night. Also, wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a windbreaker.
  • To prevent altitude sickness, drink plenty of water, carry coca leaves or altitude sickness tablets, and spend at least one day in Cusco to acclimate before the tour.
  • The tour includes hikes of varying difficulty, and some trails are challenging due to the altitude, so good physical condition is recommended. Horses or trekking poles can be rented. It is also advised to bring sunscreen, insect repellent, a raincoat, a hat, and gloves, as temperatures can drop below 0°C in the morning.
  • Bring energy snacks and extra money for purchases, souvenirs, or additional tickets not included in the package.
  • Do not touch or damage the Inca structures and follow the guide’s instructions. There will be time for photos and rest, respecting the schedule. You can also interact with local communities and support artisans by purchasing handmade products in Pisac, Chinchero, or Aguas Calientes.

Cancellation Policy

  • The Machu Picchu tour is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled, as established by the Ministry of Culture of Peru. Therefore, once the tickets are purchased, no modifications or refunds can be made under any circumstances.
  • Non-refundable tickets and services: Tickets for Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Humantay Lake, the City Tour, and other archaeological sites included in the package are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • No-show: If the client does not arrive at the designated time and meeting point for any tour included in the package, it will be considered a “no-show,” and 100% of the paid amount for that service will be forfeited, with no option for refund or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance: A penalty of 50% of the total package price will apply (valid for any tour in the package, except Machu Picchu, which is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled).
  • Cancellations within 24 hours prior to the start of the package: A penalty of 100% of the total package price will apply (valid for any tour in the package, except Machu Picchu, which is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled).

  • Force Majeure: In the event of extreme weather, strikes, road blockages, or other situations beyond the agency’s control, we will evaluate the possibility of rescheduling activities only if feasible. If rescheduling is not possible, the cancellation policies of the Ministry of Culture, associated providers, and our agency’s terms and conditions will apply.
