It depends on nationality. Citizens of most countries in the Americas and Europe do not need a visa to enter as tourists and can stay for up to 90 days. It is advisable to check with the Peruvian embassy in your country of origin before traveling.

No mandatory vaccinations are required. However, if you plan to visit the jungle (Iquitos, Puerto Maldonado, etc.), the yellow fever vaccine is recommended. It's also helpful to be up-to-date on hepatitis A and B, tetanus, and typhoid fever.
